Stuttgart, Germany, November 11th, 2015 – Impulse Dynamics reported today the first implantation of its Optimizer IV_s device in the Emirate of Sharjah (UAE). The Optimizer IV_s is a minimally invasive implantable device designed to treat Chronic Heart Failure (CHF). The device is based on novel Cardiac Contractility Modulation (CCM) technology, and delivers non-excitatory electric pulses. The implantation took place at the Cardiac Center of Al Qassimi Hospital, which is the largest public hospital in the Sharjah emirate, performed by Dr. Mohamed Magdy, Chairman & Director GULF EP Live and Head of the EP department, Cardiac Center and Dr. Arif Al Nooryani, CEO and Head of the Cardiology department, and his team.
